Net Zero Plan

Arup have committed to becoming a science-based net zero organisation by 2040.

They are on track to decarbonising their operations since they set their initial targets. They have exceeded their near-term science-based emissions reduction target to reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions 30% by 2025 - achieving 86% reduction in 2024. They are well on track to achieve 30% reduction in scope 3 emissions by 2025 – in 2024 they achieved a 29.5% reduction.

While this marks a significant milestone, it is a step in their longer journey toward becoming a science-based net zero organisation.
